Mighty Ploughboys Rockin’ Saint Paddy’s Day

MP BAND HIGH REZ AS.jpegWith Saint Patrick’s Day just around the corner, there’s nothing like experiencing the pure energy of a talented Irish rock band – with a distinctive Celtic vibe – “ploughing it up” onstage.

Now, for the fourth year in a row, the Mighty Ploughboys will headline at the iconic Daryl’s House Club in Pawling, New York – a trendy live music hotspot that’s owned by the 1980’s popstar, Daryl Hall.

Especially known throughout the tristate area, this five-member band – with local ties to Danbury, New Fairfield, and Sherman – will take to the stage March 17, Saint Patrick’s Day night, from 7 to 9 p.m.

The Mighty Ploughboys will perform original music off their highly anticipated and well-received CD, Fringe, that was just released in January.

MP FRINGE CD AS“Back Home in Derry, Last Mile, and Jenna Mclean are really catching on with our fans and the band couldn’t be happier with all 11 of our new songs,” said John Rich, electric guitarist and backup vocalist.

Rest assure, Mighty Ploughboys “classics” – such as 1981, Too Rye Ay, Ties That Bind, Tom Bradley, and Stand Tall – will surely continue to rock the house.

Although reservations for dinner are “sold out” there’s still time to reserve space in advance for general admission. Visit Daryl’s House Club for more details.

If you can’t make the Mighty Ploughboys show at Daryl’s then there’s another performance, one day before, at the Woodbury Brewing Company on March 16, and the show starts at 9 p.m.

When the weather warms up – and you’re “feeling Irish” well after St. Patrick’s Day – mark these upcoming Mighty Ploughboys live performance dates on your calendar….
